Terms of Service

Welcome to BunkerForge (“BunkerForge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BunkerForge web application and related features (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What BunkerForge Is

BunkerForge is a planning and educational tool that lets you design conceptual 2D bunker layouts, experiment with supply and readiness scenarios, and generate AI-assisted planning content. It is a hobbyist and informational tool — not a substitute for professional engineering, architectural, structural, medical, legal, or emergency-management advice.

2. Planning & Educational Use Only

• All designs, assessments, guides, cost estimates, and game outcomes are for informational and planning purposes only.
• You must not rely on the Service as the basis for actual construction, excavation, or life-safety decisions without independent review by qualified, licensed professionals.
• You are solely responsible for verifying that any plans comply with all applicable building codes, zoning rules, permits, environmental regulations, and other laws in your jurisdiction.

3. Your Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to plan, facilitate, or encourage any illegal activity, violence, or harm to others.
• You may not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its underlying providers.

4. AI-Generated Content

Certain features (the AI Scenario Test, Build Guide / Planning Calculator, and The Bunker Game) generate content using third-party artificial-intelligence models provided by Anthropic. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for independently evaluating any AI-generated content before relying on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy or fitness of AI output for any purpose.

5. Your API Key

AI features require you to supply your own Anthropic API key. You are responsible for obtaining that key, for all usage and charges Anthropic bills to it, and for complying with Anthropic’s applicable terms and usage policies. Your key is stored only in your own browser (see the Privacy Policy) and is used to make requests directly from your browser to Anthropic. Keep your key confidential.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the designs and inputs you create. Because BunkerForge currently stores your data locally in your browser (see the Privacy Policy), you are responsible for backing up anything you wish to keep. We are not liable for any loss of locally stored data.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BunkerForge and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, property, profits, or for any personal injury or death, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Service or any content generated by it.

9. Beta Service & Changes

The Service is offered on an evolving, beta basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.
